A beautiful and delicate survivor of the 1930s 40s. This authentic antique slip is crafted from a lightweight, breathable cream silk. It features a quintessential 1930s 40s silhouette with a high-pointed waistline and bias-cut skirt that skims the body perfectly. The V-neckline is adorned with exquisite inset floral lace, showing the fine hand-finishing typical of the era. A versatile piece that can be worn as high-end boudoir wear or styled as a minimalist vintage slip dress. The hand made needle work appliqués added later • Era: 1930s to early 1940s. • Material: 100% Silk • Colour: Cream. • Condition: Washed ready to wear. There are faint marks. There’s lines at the bottom once must have had pleats maybe unstitched.
