A rare and ethereal survivor from the early Art Deco period. This authentic antique gown is crafted from a lightweight, buttery ivory silk. It features extraordinary hand-smocking across the upper bodice, leading into a scalloped yoke adorned with intricate floral hand-embroidery and open-work eyelets. The plunging keyhole neckline is secured by delicate original silk ties, while the skirt falls in a graceful, airy drape. While I try to list all flaws, tiny pinholes or minor breaks in lace can occasionally be missed. • Care for Pre-1930s Items: 1920s silk and Edwardian muslin are fragile and cannot handle stress. These should be worn with care and ideally bought a size larger for a loose fit. Shipping Information • UK: Sent Tracked & Signed (First Class for under 2kg, Parcelforce for over 2kg).
