This Edwardian-era under slip is crafted from a soft, lightweight white cotton fabric. The slip features intricate cutout lace detailing at both the top and bottom hems. At the bust area, the lace creates a delicate, open-work pattern that adds a touch of feminine elegance. The lace is fine and airy, allowing glimpses of the skin beneath to subtly peek through. A similar lace trim adorns the hemline of the slip, and grey ribbon around the flounce and straps creating a beautiful romantic look. * See it first exclusively on our page www.instagram.com/rockmyvintagedress Condition: * Excellent washed ready to wear. Any accessories used in the pictures are not included, its purely there to show how the outfit could be worn or enhanced. Vintage or antique will always have an element of oldness even if it’s not been worn! It will not look like brand new modern clothing from a shop. There may also be minor flaws loose stitching, stitching undone, age fading (the colour may not be brilliant black for example these are normal and expected in older outfits. I always try to list all the flaws, however some may get missed for example if the dress is just lace alone it’s easy to miss the odd break. Or miss a tiny pin hole that can only be seen when worn or held up to light ! Tips before you purchase: I would say anything before 1930s should be treated with care and worn with care. A 1920s silk or an Edwardian very fine Muslin costume can not handle stress and will tear easily. It should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose fit . Special notes on Edwardian or Victorian clothing : *The sleeves may not be long to the wrist but more of a 3/4 length *Some may fall longer in the body or more of a crop style! *Buttons also may vary in shape and size on the same garment as these garments are old and would have lost buttons along the way. *The blouse may look big and loose but the shoulders or opening of the arm will be small and therefore the size will be small even if it looks Large.
