An extraordinary survivor from the early 20th century. This authentic antique gown is crafted from a semi sheer, delicate pale pink silk chiffon dress, featuring masterfully executed vertical knife pleats throughout the central panel. The silhouette is framed by exquisite floral embroidery on contrasting pink satin ribbon trim which is hand embroidery. With its airy, ethereal drape and whimsical ruffled hem. The dress is full beautiful dry clean only if you wash it, it will loose the pleats at the front. Smock style, also looks beautiful with a belt. Which is not included. • Era: late 1920s - early 1930s transition. • Material: 100% Sheer Silk Chiffon / Embroidered silk Satin Trim. • Colour: Pastel Petal Pink / Blush. • Details: Vertical knife-pleating, floral ribbon embroidery, sleeveless scoop neck, ruffled hem. • Condition: very very good condition. Clean ready to wear some minor marks see pictures. Also the internal ribbon is fraying around the edges see pictures.
